The Taraclia district in Moldova is preparing to open an official representative office of the Bulgarian Black Sea resort “Albena”. This initiative is part of an upcoming cooperation agreement between the District Council and the resort’s management, which is scheduled to be signed on 24th May.
The new office will provide information about opportunities for children’s summer vacations as well as seasonal employment in Bulgaria. The initiative comes at a time when the region lacks organized recreational activities for local children.
During a recent meeting in Taraclia, attended by District Chairman Lazar Dermenji, local government officials, school directors, and representatives from the resort “Albena”, including the resort’s executive management, specific steps for implementing the partnership were discussed. Bulgaria’s Consul in Taraclia, Lyubomir Dimov, was also present at the meeting.
Starting from 1st June, the resort will launch a recruitment campaign for the summer season. Available positions include housekeeping staff, kitchen assistants, waiters, and tour guides, with starting salaries from €600. Accommodation and meals are provided to employees, and the administrative procedures typically take around two weeks to complete.
The partnership between Taraclia and the resort is expected to create long-term opportunities for exchange, employment, and vacation, supporting the integration of young people from the region into Bulgaria’s economic and cultural environment.
