Georgian citizens interested in working, studying, or legally residing in Bulgaria and the European Union are invited to participate in a series of information events, organized by the European Institute Foundation (Bulgaria).
The two-day events will take place on 14-15 July and 16-17 July 2025 at the “Courtyard Marriott” Hotel in Tbilisi, Georgia, starting each day at 10:00 AM local time.
The information events will provide practical guidance on legal migration opportunities to Bulgaria and the EU. Participants will receive detailed information on visa and residency procedures, employment and education options, the EU Blue Card, and the bilateral agreement between Georgia and Bulgaria regulating labour migration. The sessions will also cover the rights and responsibilities of foreign workers.
The program includes expert presentations, individual consultations, and interactive discussions focused on both the benefits and challenges of legal migration. Attendees will also receive free informational materials.
Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required. Interested individuals are invited to register by 13 July 2025.
The initiative is part of the project “Fostering Legal Migration from Moldova and Georgia to Bulgaria,” funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021–2027 of the European Union.
